Good morning GCT: This first Sunday of 2018, even though it is going to be a frigidly cold one, I want to answer some hot questions together to warm our hearts. Did you know that we named our distinct local body of Christ, GRACE COMMUNITY OF TOPSAIL, for the purpose of communicating that we value greatly COMMUNITY? But what does our heavenly Father expect us to share in this COMMUNITY called GCT?
The Bible describes our community in the church as:
1) A community of the Word
2) A community that worships our Lord with all of our heart, soul, mind, strength
3) A community that demonstrates mutual love and concern for each other
4) A community that serves and loves our neighbor as we show and share the gospel to the world.
I really hope, despite the cold, that you are with us in worship this Sunday as a body of Christ. Let us be excellent in exhibiting the LOVE of GOD in PRACTICE.
1 Corinthians 14:26 What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.
