Hope has a name - His name is Jesus Christ

Very Good Friday GCT:  Good Friday of Holy Week certainly is good but the results are very very good!  Romans 5:8 tells us,  "...but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”  and 1 Peter 3:18 says, For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.”  

Church!  Even greater is Resurrection Sunday!  Because the tomb of Jesus was empty we have eternal promises that create great HOPE!  

2 Corinthians 5:21 promises us, "For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”  
Romans 4:25  Jesus was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.

GCT, The empty tomb is for our great joy and creates great HOPE!  Why?  Because HOPE is a resurrected Christ.  Jesus Christ says that I am your only HOPE and I have proved this through the resurrection.  Hope is deep, bottomless, profound, alive, delightful, vivacious, firm, definite, and steadfast.  This is the hope that we find in the empty tomb and that hope is for us now in all our trials, tribulations and circumstances.  Hope is a resurrected JESUS CHRIST.
