Reminder of some great opportunities this week to grow in Wisdom and Compassion

Hey GCT:  This is a reminder for two great opportunities to grow in compassion and wisdom as believers this week.   We are called to have a faithful and compassionate response as believers for the faith that is in us.  These two opportunities this week will encourage and inform us as believers on what our biblical response should be as we live in a secularized culture in the midst of a sexual revolution.  What should our response be as the Church?  What should our response be as individual believers?  This Thursday night at 7pm at UNCW there will be a great discussion “Homosexuality: Compassion and Clarity”  that will give direction on how to navigate this topic that seems to dominate many areas in our society presently.  

Also, this Saturday is the 2nd Annual Coastal Apologetics Conference which encourages and informs us on how to have an answer for the arguments from the secular world against our faith as believers.  Our own John Zino will be speaking at this conference.  See breakout session below.

Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:5 , "destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.”
