Let us join together in prayer for God’s hand of mercy

Father in heaven who controls all storms, waves, wind, water, rain, trees please have mercy upon your children who You love and care for perfectly. We are the recipients of endless and abounding grace from You daily and now we ask to be surrounded by Your mercy. You tell us that You are a God who is merciful and gracious, abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, please Lord let your mercy fall upon us as a church and a community. I pray for a diminishing of strength of Florence. Take away wave action. Take away wind. Take away surge. Spare property. Speed up this storm and let it leave quickly. Let us have a greater view of you as a mighty God who loves us with all goodness and perfect care. You alone are God and you are greatly to be praised. In Jesus name, amen!
